We are currently laying our tech foundations aiming at becoming one of the major players in the latest industry to experience rapid digitisation. We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer (m/f/d), who wants to have a major impact on the technology and architecture of this system. You will be leading the team in the creation of new and up-to-date services which address all the multiple technical challenges coming from our ecosystem, from serving the needs of a classic e-commerce rental system to also serving the needs of the fleet management department.

Core Tasks

·         Lead a team of skilled software engineers

·         Spend half of our time coding and the other half leading the team

·         Work closely with the team’s product owner and the head of engineering to meet the needs of the business

·         Help the team to break tasks down into smaller, estimable deliverables by preparing specifications and determining operational feasibility

·         Architect and develop well designed, testable and efficient code cloud-native code that meets functional specifications and non functional requirement

·         Organize documenting and maintenance of software functionality

·         Devise ways to measure and to improve our application performance

·         Perform code reviews for other team member

Key Requirements

·         You have experience with leading a team or you are looking to make the first step toward team management.

·         You are a generalist, or at least enjoy working across the stack (FE, API, BE, Database, etc)

·         Significant experience in building APIs (bonus if you already have GraphQL experience)

·         Have a strong background in modern a web development framework eg. React, Vue, Angular (we use React)

·         You speak Javascript/Typescript…and English (C1) German (B2) is a plus

·         You are independent, dedicated, and able to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance

·         Comfortable with discussing client-side architecture questions/decisions with different stakeholders
