Conception of architectures for web applications, taking into account logical data models and cross-system information flows

Creation of system, application and service visualizations for our process and data architecture

Development of database and ETL solutions for storing and retrieving company information, improving system performance through test runs, troubleshooting and integration of new elements

Analysis of data storage, data transfer and related processes. Result-dependent solution proposals based on conceptual and logical data models and flow charts

Evaluation of implementation concepts of new systems based on knockout criteria and other requirements

Coordination of workshops to further develop and improve our standards and processes

Advancing data governance issues and adapting important market trends in cooperation with the relevant stakeholders

Creation of an Actian “Book of Standards” for all data-related technologies and projects of our company

Implementation of a data dictionary and other structures and elements required for metadata management

Your profile

Completed degree in computer science, mathematics, business informatics or a comparable degree

7+ years of professional experience as a data architect, data scientist, data analyst or similar role

Excellent knowledge of data modelling, database design, data management and data governance

Many years of experience with data architectures and models as well as good knowledge of the design of (service-oriented) architectures

Good user knowledge of SQL as well as Salesforce, NetSuite and one or more ETL tools, data mining and segmentation techniques

High level of familiarity with data analysis and visualization techniques using relevant tools [e.g. B. Tableau, D3.js, Jupyter Notebooks or R]

Understanding of commercial processes, pleasure in sharing knowledge in an international context and high (internal) service orientation

Very good presentation and communication skills in English (at least C1) and ideally also in German
