. Your main tasks will be to engage with our customers to ensure successful deployment of the Horizon56 software applications. You will be reporting to the Head of Deployment.

You will be working closely with a team of digital operations engineers with heavy offshore operational experience as well as the technical & development team. The organizational structure is flat and we have a low-key and fun working environment, where tasks can change in a fast pace.

Job Role Responsibilities

Define and implement technical requirements for the infrastructure in coordination with clients.
Early client engagement, setting up project plan and timeline for IT deployment
Implement the installation of technology solutions and hardware offshore
Responsible for integration towards external data sources e,g, drilling control system data
Write documentation and guidelines to simplify the technical deployment for our customers
Coordinate with Customers (operators and drilling contractors) following up on delivery and expectations from all parties. Highlight potential challenges and how to solve these
Continuously work on optimizing how Horizon56 drive technical deployment activities

Required qualifications and experience

We expect you to hold a degree in Engineering or similar, preferably in a related area such as automation, network, electrical or similar. Furthermore, you come with a minimum of 5 years of work experience. The ideal candidate has a background in the O&G industry working with support or implementation. More specifically, we are looking for the following competencies:

Expertise within IT, hardware, hosting, cloud, network and software deployment
IT/OT Network and technical documentation experience
Project management skills
A proactive attitude with high sense of urgency to follow up on deliveries
Switch between a tactical and hands-on approach to solving tasks
Competence and previous experience within implementation of new technology
Articulate in English, both written and verbal
Confidence in leading meetings and other related group activities
