Description of the job

The Product Tester is assigned to one or multiple projects and is responsible for the following tasks:

Analyze the product requirements in order to identify functional
and non-functional test conditions.
Collaborate with the project team members to clarify the product
requirements and follow up on any issues.
Implement and execute manual and automated test suites.
Identify and report software defects in a clear and detailed manner
using bug tracking tools.
Analyze the test results to identify areas for improvement in the
software under test and in the test process.
Maintain and enhance the existing manual and automated test
suites.
Follow the established test processes, standards, and best practices to maintain consistency and reliability in the testing activities.
Stay updated on testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
through self-learning and training sessions.
Contribute to ensuring the overall quality of the software products.

Ideal profile
You profile:

You completed a higher education in a scientific or technical field, or have equivalent experience as a Test Engineer.
ISTQB certification is a plus.
You have experience with projects using the Agile, Scrum or DevOps methodologies.
You have experience with product management tools, such as Jira and test management tools, such as Xray or Zephyr.
You have experience with test automation frameworks, such as Selenium and Playwright, and you implemented tests using Java or JavaScript.
You are curious, motivated by the field of software testing and willing to develop your expertise in this area.
